  • Greetings, Penelope, bride of Odysseus, I have come with news of your lost husband.
  • Be gone mere beggar!
  • Oh, hello mere beggar, please, tell me, how is my sweet Odysseus? I hope he is well.
  • Please my dear Eurycleia, swear to secrecy, I must test my close friends for true loyalty.
  • Odysseus! I cannot believe you are home, please, you must tell Penelope! she is in sorrow
  • Anyone who has the ability to string this bow and send an arrow through a axe head, I shall leave here and marry them.
  • Sounds easy enough! I'll have a go!
  • Odysseus has beggars clothes on and talks with the evil suitors, claiming to Penelope he has news of her lost husband, Odysseus.
  • Hello, may I have a word? Say a Odysseus came back as of now, would you bare open arms or would you accept the suitors?
  • oh, let our master come home, answer our prayers zeus, then judge what is truly in me!
  • Upon the telling of Odysseus and his journeys, and how he is quite well, Penelope gained respect for this man, requesting that the maidens wash his feet, which is a sign of respect. She then recognizes his scar.
  • oh men, it is me, I am he, I am home, now for whats in store, if zeus takes the suitors down, then I promise homes near mine and brotherhood with my dear Telemachus.
  • oh Odysseus, we would be more then delighted to stay near you, please, how ever may we help you?
  • Luckliy, Penelope had the perfect test, she took her husbands bow, knowing that only odysseus can string and use this bow, which would allow her to weed out the greedy unfit suiters.
  • I have shot the bow without damaging my fingers and without sturggle, I have not missed, I shall enjoy this feast.
  • As the men are trying the bow, Odysseus, still in his beggars clothes sees two men, one cowherd, and a swineherd. odysseus being quite the curious man and followed them out back and gently approached and asked them a few questions.
  • As of then, Odysseus was certain of these men that they were loyal, he them told them his true identity, showing them his scar, asking they walk balk in, one at a time to draw no attention to themselves.
  • Odysseus and the men then walk one, as ordered, and he requests a try, at first, the suiters told the beggar to go home, but Penelope decided to give him a chance. As Odysseus, the tension grew in the room grew, he then shot the bow straight through the axe head!
