  • The Thebens killed two Macedonians after they heard rumors about Alexanders death.
  • Three Day Amnesty and Peace Terms
  • When Alexander learned of the revolt of Thebes, he was immediatly concerned about the situation, and despite being advised otherwise by his generals, "Would not abandon control of Greece".
  • The Siege
  • Alexanders march was a success, because he achieved the element of suprise.
  • The Aftermath
  • Alexander's responese was to grant Thebes a three day amnesty, to give the city a chance to realise the danger of their situation.
