  • The Proclamation Act of 1763
  • Come on hurry we need to get to the other side and settle.
  • Okay we are coming.
  • The Stamp Act and Its Repeal of 1765
  • The Townshend Act of 1767
  • Thank you for the supplies.
  • The  Proclamation act was when  settlers weren't   aloud to cross over the  west Appalachian  Mountains. The Act failed many settlers continued to cross the boundary and they would clam land that crosses there boundary. It helped  lead to the Revolution because  it aloud England to have all the land and got indent so they had to start taxing people and it made people upset.
  • The Boston Massacre of 1770
  • The Stamp Act of 1765 was a time when  Merchants and Lawyers had to buy  stamps  for ships' papers and legal documents. They had to stamp owners licenses and newspapers.  But, the stamp tax wasn't  to expensive.  It upset  and lead to the Revolution because  the principle of the matter  is what upset the colonist.  They believed  it was the outright  effort to raise money.

  • The Townshend act of 1767 was when colonist had to provide quarters and supplies for British troops in America. What got the colonist angry was providing the troops with supplies. This help lead to the American revolution because the laws passed by the British government on the American colonies. They ended up placing new Taxes and took away some freedoms from the colonists.
  • The Intolerable Act of 1774
  • You  have been declared guilty in the court of law.
  • The  Boston Massacre of 1770 was when colonist got into an argument with British  outside of the Custom House. The argument ended up getting worse. Troops showed up to  Maintain order. The colonist were in the argument and they noticed that the troops were armed they started  taunting them to shoot. Someone throw something at a soldier and  knocked   him down his name was Private  Montgomery. So he got up and fired his gone at the crowed and other  solders   did so as well. Five colonist died and also a Black named Crispus. 13 people were arrester. What upset the people and lead to the revolution was because the sons of liberty used it to show that British were evil.
  • The Tea Act of 1773 was when Protesters boarded 3 trade ships that had tea they threw the ships' cargo of tea of the ship overboard. Protesters were actually Sons of Liberty and had just dressed up line Indians as a disguise. They were protesting because Tea was the favorite drink at the time. It came down to East India Trading Company was the only company you can buy tea from. So, people had to pay higher Taxes on the tea. The Colonist were upset about that and refused to pay and wanted the tea returned to British. Which  made it lead to the American revolution.
  • Remove all the Tea.
  • The Intolerable Act of 1774 was the response to the Boston Tea party. This act closed the port of Boston. Limited their self  government    autonomy. The ones who had crimes had to go to trial in England. What made them upset was when the parliament taxed the colonist at this time and they weren't happy about it because they couldn't give there representation on it. This lead to the American revolution because the outrage it caused lead to it.
