I can't stop staring at Liberty 5-3000, the "golden one."
I do not care about this place.
I've done it ! Electricity is here. Now i have to tell the council of scholars.
In Equality's kid/teen years everyone was taught that they were nothing. He fought other kids in aggression.
Your so beautiful, and it's hard knowing that we can't even be together.
In this chapter, Equality meets a girl named Liberty 5-3000. He instantly falls in love, but he knows he will get in trouble if he talks to her. They made up a way to communicate with each other. "thereafter we greeted each other with out eyes"
I wish that i could just see myself once.
Equality discovered electricity, and now feels like if he tells the council he will become a scholar too. "No single one can possess greater wisdom than the many scholars who are elected by all men for their wisdom".
Awe, Equality i really like you.
At the end of this chapter, Equality and Liberty are side by side talking to each other, and Equality slips a kiss on Liberty's hand. They know they shouldn't be talking or even seeing each other, but they have a connection.
Equality states that he has never seen his reflection or himself ever. For 21 years that he's been alive, he has never looked in a mirror. That is really sad, because they have nothing.
Equality was 1 hour late to the theatre and wouldn't tell the scholars. He was working on the lightbulb, and didn't want to tell them the surpirse. They whipped him hoping that he would say something but he didn't.
