Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite left to find Paris they found him on mount Ida.they said who should have the apple. ''Choose me'' said Hera ''I will give you power and make you a great ruler. ''Choose me'' said Athene. ''I will ensure that you win all your battles and become a famous warrior. Aphrodite said ''Choose me and you shall have the most beautiful woman in the word for your wife.
paris chose Aphrodite. the most beautiful woman in the world is Helen of sparta who was married to menelaus. Paris went out to steal Helen. helen ran off with Paris to Troy with treasure. the 2 brothers called on the other kings to get Helen back. in every part of Greece kings gathered their armies and sailed to Troy the Greeks attacked right away.
the Greeks could not get into Troy but they wouldn't leave without Helen. 9 years later they were still there fighting battles they would not give up and abandon the war but they all longed for their homes they left in Greece.
