In the story,"The Necklace" Madame Loisel was a woman who hated her life. She thought she was born for the rich life and wanted to be in the rich life. But after the ball she went to, she lost a diamond necklace of her friend. Madame Loisel had to buy a new one and repay all the debts she and her husband needed to repay. Madame Loisel was now a very poor woman living a very poor life. She now understands to be gratful for the things she has instead of wanting to have more. I think Madame Loisel changed for the worst because, she learned her lesson in a very harsh and rough way.
The republican sniper from the story,"The Sniper" was sent on a scouting mission until he got spotted. After disposing everyone or so he thought, he got sniped in the arm. The republican sniper thought of a plan to kill the other sniper, which worked. The republican sniper watched his body fall lifeless.
After watching the body drop to the ground, the battle lust died inside of him. He cursed at everything, after he finished cursing he needed to report back to his commander before dawn, but out of curiosity he wanted to know who the sniper was. When he went to go check, he killed his own brother. I think he changed for the worse because in the war he killed his own brother in which he didn't even know that was his brother. That has made him understand what war can do to you and your entire life.
Sanger Rainsfords was a hunter and loved doing it. Until he was made prey by a general who was bored of hunting because he was too good at it. So Sanger Rainsford was now understanding how a animal felt when being chased by the hunter. Luckily Sanger Rainsford was able to escape on the last day and get into the generals room.
Once the general walked into the room and turned on the light, he saw Sanger Rainsford standing behind a curtain. They had a dual to see who would sleep in the comfy bed and who would feed the dogs. Rainsford had slept in the most comfiest bed ever in his life.
I think this character changed for the better because he now has a better understanding of how animals feel. He's also a hero because the people that the general uses as prey can now go back to their normal lives.
