#### Storyboard Description

This project was designed to teach how to find the hypotenuse of a figure that resembles a right triangle. It involves the story of Adele and Feero, who saves Adele from the building by using the Hypotenuse formula, which is the Pythagorean theorem.

• Oh no! How are we going to get him down? ﻿I don't know how long I need to extend the ladder.
• Adele, a window cleaner, got stuck on the 3rd story of a building. Somebody called the firefighters, and Feero showed up with a ladder to get him down.﻿
• HELPPPPPPPPP!﻿
• I know the height of the building from the bottom to Adele is 5 m. I just need to measure the length from the building to the bottom of the ladder!
• Feero, with his quick thinking came up with a solution.
• Somebody help me !﻿
• I got it! It should be 3 meters. ﻿
• So he measured the length from the bottom of the ladder to the building, seeing which place would be right.
• I should have stayed a taxi driver!
• So square root 5^2+3^2=6. So I just need to extend the ladder 6 m.
• Now that he got the length from the ladder to the building, he can measure how much he needs to extend the ladder by using the formula square root Leg1^2+Leg2^2=Hypotenuse
• Please get me out of here firefighter!
• It worked! I got it exactly right.
• The ladder happened to reach just perfectly to Adele, who was very happy to see that he was going to get saved.
• Hold the ladder, I'm coming down.
• No problem, but be more careful next time cleaning windows.
• ﻿Oh thank you so much! If it wasn't for you, I might have gotten hurt.
• Now that he is safely down, Adele thanks Feero, and then they both go on with their life.
