In olden times there lives a king, who had a daughter that he always tried to keep an eye on and his daughter had a lover which the king did not know about, the king ruled the kingdom with ideas from other countries that surrounded him he had a civil and barbaric aspect to him. In addition, he also had an arena in which he used to do what he enjoyed most in his kingdom which was punishing the wrongdoers in the kingdom.
The king becomes shocked to find that one day his daughter was with her lover and he immediately disregards all of the situation and instead decides to treat his daughters lover as a criminal by locking him up in prison and planning to hold a trial for him in the arena, he did not think about how the daughter would feel about this instead he only thought about protecting her and keeping her close to himself.
The king throws his daughters lover in jail planning to get rid of him, so he sets up a trial for him using the most viscous tiger in all of his kingdom and one of the most beautiful maidens around in his kingdom also one that his daughter hates. The daughters lover has to open one of two doors in an arena, behind one is a viscous tiger, behind the other is the maiden which he will have to marry. He has no way of knowing what is waiting for him behind each door.
The day of the trial comes, the lover of the kings daughter is released into the arena to pick one of two doors without knowing what lies on the other side of the doors awaiting him. Everyone has come to the arena to watch this important moment even the king and his daughter. The lover has faith that the princess knows what is behind each door and she does. she signs him to the door on the right without anyone seeing. Her lover believes she is guiding him in the right direction
The kings daughter feels that she has told her lover the right door to choose since she felt that if she told him the other door with the lady behind it, he would have to marry her and never see her again. If she told him the door with the tiger she knew she would have to watch him die, but in the end it would be better because when her time came she would see him in the "blessed regions of semi-barbaric futurity".
