Philip from Ifugao and Sam from Boston were good friends. They are on their way to Ifugao.
When they arrived, Phiip told Sam that most of the people in their village dislikes him.
Sam wanted an Ifugao god as a souvenir that will also be a reminder of Philip.
Unfortunately, no one was willing to sell their God. Philip's last resort was his grandfather's God. So he decided to steal it because he feels it would be his way of showing his gratitude to Sam for giving him a raise at work. But Sam told him to return it instead.
The next day, his grandfather died because he discovered that his god was stolen.
He stayed in Ifugao to make another god that Sam will bring when he go back to Boston. And when Sam decided to visit Philip, he saw that Philip was wearing the traditional bahag of the Ifugao's.
