The era of the Industrial revolution was an era that shaped the country and the world to that way that it is today. Enen though there were many issues with the system during this time, without this time period in history, the world would not be as advanced as it is right now.
The streets which were also called "slums" were very highly polluted and there was garbage and decomposed animals all over the place and eventually, this was a big part of how disease started.
Tenements were made for families to live in and each family had to pay rent in order to live there. Tenements were very tall and very skinny buildings that didn't have much room in them for people to be able to live comfortably.
Families like this one lived in crowded apartments that were called tenements and there were up to 9 people living in an apartment and the rent was always high and people were rarely able to live in apartment that weren't crowded. There was not running water, no bathroom and a shortage food.
During the time of the industrial revolution, mostly younger boys were forced to work in factories so that they would be able to support their families and the working conditions were not the best for young children to be working in. The hazardous of working were extremely dangerous
Overall, even though there were many enduring issues during the industrial revolution, the main one that stood out was conflict because there was pollution everywhere, terrible working and living conditions and many of the people had a hard time trying to get by..
