A girl has just moved into a new neighbourhood. A passing by neighbour offers to help her open the package she is struggling with. Scene begins with an arial shot moving into the scene. They take the package to the shed and it turns out to be a bomb. They escape in time but her dog is trapped in the burning shed. They soon realise that someone is trying to hurt her. Long shots to show the entire scene and low angle shots handheld when they are escaping to show the panic. Sounds of the barking dog, the burning shed and the distant sound of a fire engine.
They are attacked at school as her new friend is poisoned by the mystery attacker. They receive another note from him gloating at his successful attempts to harm them. Handheld close up shot to show and frame his panic as he is struggling to breathe. Long shots to show the whole scene. Diagetic sounds of murmering in the canteen and heavy breathing from the boy.
They notice a man watching them from the shadows. He realises he's been spotted and he runs off. The follow him. Over the shoulder shot of the mystery attacker's silhouette to show he's being discreet. Eye level tracking shot as they follow him in pursuit. Background noise of cars and people talking outside in public. Darker lighting to show the shadiness of the situation.
They follow the mystery attacker to a deserted cellar and confront him. He blames the girl for his daughter's imprisonment and attempts to stab her. The boy stops him by impaling him with a sharp pole he finds. Long shots and medium shots to show all the action. Diagatic sound of the girl's screams for help. Brighter lighting after he's stopped from stabbing her to show relief that the situation is over. Visual match shots are used throughout the action sequence.
