The narrator and Lou walked home. They wished they were able to ride the bus so thy didn't have to walk home. They also had to to carry there heavy backpacks.
At the Restaurant

The narrator and Lou were very upset that some crazys pored cement into there pool. Since it was a small town they couldn't really fix it. Now that they didn't have a pool they couldn't cool off on the hot days
The narrator was embarrassed that Lou was yelling at the painter to stop painting on there wall.
The Wall is Finished
The narrator and Lou are confused. They are wondering why she acts and speaks so different. They have never had an outside visitor.
Mamma put some rice on the painter ladys hair. She also kept asking her if she wanted food. She stressly said ok.
The painter lady was finished. She stepped back and looked at her beautiful piece of art. The narrator and Lou looked at it to surprised.
