  • Susie's mom told her she could choose some candy from the store. Susie decides that she wants the candies on the top shelf. Susie is 4'8, and she wants to know how tall the top shelf is. She can use trig to find the height of the shelf. She finds out that the shelf is 7'8 tall.

  • After Susie gets her candy, she decides she wants to go to the park. She is nervous to go down the slide because it looks really big. She knows the slide is 10ft long, so she can use trig to find out how tall the slide is. She finds out that the slide is 7.5 ft tall and she isn't scared to go down it anymore.
