Mr Johns is one of our VIP customers. I want to accelerate the connection time for his order to let him know how much we appreciate his business.
This order is for 222 State St, Armidale. I have an appointment ID for that address so I'll assign it to the order.
I'll use the Service Portal to create an order and see if I have appointment options for fast tracking it.
Scenario 1: There are no accelerated appointments available.
I'm looking at the appointments but I can't fast track the order.
Scenario 2: None of the accelerated appointments are good for Mr Johns.
John's job is to reserve stand alone appointments. These will be added to Orders after they are Acknowledged via the B2B.
I need to reserve an accelerated appointment for 222 State Street in Armidale.
Mary's job is to assign appointments to Orders submitted via the B2B. She amends the order through the B2B by entering the appointment ID corresponding to the address.
I've received a notification saying the appointment SLA requested and the appointment ID I entered must have matching SLAs.
Comptel checks and finds that the requested appointment SLA was Standard but the appointment ID entered is Accelerated. The order moves to In Progress - Pending.
