  • Exposition
  • My family is cursed thanks to my pig stealing great-great grandfather.
  • Conflict
  • I'm Mr. Pendanski, camp counselor. Don't upset the warden.
  • It sure is hot. I'm so thirsty. I will try to change my bad behavior.
  • Rising Action
  • I am the warden. If you dig up anything interesting, I will take it.
  • Because his great-great grandfather was a no good pig stealer, who lied to the gypsy, Stanley thinks he is cursed.
  • Climax
  • Zero, we can eat these onions to get stronger. We will have to drink this muddy water.
  • Stanley is found guilty of stealing Clyde Livingston's shoes and is sent to Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake is a boys detention camp.
  • Falling Action
  • Zero, says Stanley, we should go back to camp soon to try and find the treasure.
  • They boys are made to dig holes all day, every day. Stanley meets Zero, X-Ray, and Squid. Stanley is warned about the yellow lizards. Stanley finds a lipstick tube, which he is made to give to the Warden.
  • Resolution
  • I'm going to buy my dad's house. Hector will look for his mom. We are rich from the treasure.
  • I'm Ms. Marengo, Stanley's lawyer. Stanley is innocent. He if free to leave with his suitcase.
  • Stanley and Zero leave camp. Zero is sick. The boys muddy water to drink. Onions to eat. The family curse lifts after Stanley carries Zero up the mountain.
  • The boys stay away from camp, trying to decide if they should go back. For shelter, they stay in a hole, under a boat. They keep eating onions and drinking the muddy water to get strong enough to make the trip back to camp. They want to find the treasure.
  • All turns out well in the end. The boys strike it rich with the treasure. Stanley's dad invents a cure for foot odor. Zero finds his mom. Clyde is doing commercials. The camp is turned into a girl scout camp.
