  • Jesus' First Miracle
  • I have been to many weddings and usually the choice wine is served first and then when the guest have had too much to drink they serve the cheaper wine; but not you, you have saved the best until last.
  • *proud*
  • Mary, Jesus and the twelve disciples were at a wedding in Cana. Mary came to Jesus quite distressed and informed him that they have run out of wine; she asked him if he could do anything, he was scepticle at first. But Mary then called over some servants and said, "do what ever he tells you'' and so they did.
  • The Last Supper
  • The Passover is in two days my friends. Also the Son of God will be given up and crucified
  • Jesus told the servants to fill six 30 gallon stone jugs to the brim with water .
  • Jesus is annioted
  • After the servants had filled the jugs Jesus then told them to draw some out and take it to the Master of the Banquet. His reaction was quite extravagant.
  • Jesus is annionted
  • Why the waste?
  • Jesus had met with his disciples. He had told them that the Passover is only two days away and that the Son of God will be given up and crucified. Whilst the disciples and Jesus were together the cheif priests and elders gathered at Caiaphas' palace. Whilst there they planned to arrest Jesus and kill him.
  • Jesus was in Bethany; he was in Simon the Lepers home. A woman came to him with a bottle of perfume; with poured it over Jesus' head whilst he reclined in a chair at the table. The disciple had seen what had happened and they were indignant.
  • The disciples argued that pouring the perfume over Jesus was a waste and that the perfume could be sold and the profit given to the poor. But Jesus had told them that what had been done was a beautiful thing and that this woman will be forever thanked and known for it.
  • Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful to me. The poor you will always have with you, but not I, you will not always have me. When she poured the perfume over me she prepared me for burial. Truely I tell you where ever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will be told, in memory of her.
  • That perfume could've been sold and the profit given to the poor.
