Odysseus arrives to to an island and he and his men find a mysterious cave that has a lot of food to feast on after a long journey.
The Drunk Cyclops
So what's the plan?
Odysseus waits in the cave to meet the man that owns the cave so he can give Odysseus a gift but the type of man was not what Odysseus had expected.
Odysseus tries to explain who they were and where they came from but the one-eyed creature didn't care. Odysseus told him that he was expecting a gift from the creature and he got very angry. He got so angry that he started eating Odysseus' men!
After the one-eyed creature had it's feast on Odysseus' men. After that, Odysseus offered him some wine. After the one-eyed creature drank the wine, he had suddenly fell asleep because he was drunk. Then, they started thinking of a plan.
Odysseus told the men he had his plan and they took action! Odysseus stabbed the cyclops in the eye and then him and all of his men hid under the giant sheep and waited till morning.
When morning came, the cyclops let out his sheep like usual, only this time he was feeling the tops of them making sure that Odysseus and the rest of his men didn't escape! But little did he know, they were hiding at the bottom and they had all gotten away.
