  • Jacksonian Democracy was a movement  led by Andrew Jackson to increase rights for all citizens .
  • Jackson used this to his advantage by using the expansion of voting rights it created to win the presidency in a landslide vote in 1828.
  • Jackson does not deserve to be on the $20 bill because  he used this to his advantage to get more votes  and become president.
  • The spoils system was Jackson’s practice of granting government jobs to his supporters.
  • Jackson used this to his advantage because like-minded people were in his government and therefore did things he wanted to do.
  • Jackson does not deserve to be on the $20 bill because   this is a form of nepotism and very unfair to  his opposers.
  • An act that called on the government to negotiate with Native Americans in order to make more room for settlers to live.
  • Jackson used this to his advantage by enforcing the laws and moving the Native Americans westward.
  • He forcefully moved Native Americans off their lands and  that is not what a president should represent.
  • A debate that argued whether or not the federal government or the states should have more power.
  • Jackson used this to his advantage by stating at a dinner that the Federal Union must be preserved, stating to everyone his position on the debate.
  • Jackson does not deserve to be on the $20 bill because  power should be distributed equally among all members.
  • The distrust that Andrew Jackson had with the second National Bank.
  • Jackson used this to his advantage by claiming that the bank was unconstitutional, and harmful to national security, and vetoing the renewal of the bank.
  • Jackson does not deserve to be on the $20 bill because  he put his personal issues against the bank in front of his   responsibilities.
