  • The Twelve Labors of Hercules.
  • I shall endure twelve labors to become one of the gods. Because I am the son of Zeus.

  • I am going to throttle this lion and use the pelt for armor.
  • Labor #2
  • I shall conquer this beast.
  • In “The Twelve Labors of Hercules,” Hercules had to endure 12 labors to become one of the gods,he wanted to become a god because his father was Zeus.
  • Labor #2-9
  • In the first labors he had to kill the Nemean Lion. The fearsome beast that had hide that was so thick and tough that it could deflect any weapon. Hercules shot arrows at him and they bounced off of the hide, he hit the Lion with a sword and still it did nothing so Hercules went up to the Lion and throttled it to death.

  • In the second labor of Hercules he had to kill the many-headed hydra, a creature that was so terrible that to smell its breath was fatal.

  • In the following labors he was sent to pursue and conquer the Cerynean hind, the Erymanthian boar, the Stymphalian birds, the Cretan bull, the mares of Diomedes, and the cattle of Geryon. He was also sent to steal the golden girdle of queen Hippolyta.
  • Was to Hercules to clean the stables of King Augeus because they had not been cleaned in all living history. The dung of cattle and horses layed there in such great mounds that the barn was mostly covered in manure. He built two breaches in the stables and then diverted two rivers and the water swept all of the manure out of the stables and down the valleys and they were clean.
  • Hercules needed three golden apples from the garden of Hesperides, So Hercules went to Atlas and asked him to go and get the apples and he would take the weight of the heavens for a while. Atlas got the apples and Hercules asked him to take the heavens back while he made a pad so that the heavens would stop hurting his head, but instead of making the mad he grabbed the golden apples and left.
