Roosevelt filed 44 antitrust suits as President. These were power-hungry corporations that controlled practically the entirety of the industries, which resulted in giving the heads of these coorporations too much power.

In 1906, Franklin issued a law that stopped the sales of contaminated foods and medicines. It also called for the labels on all of these products to be entirley truthful.
An Act that issued that the federal government would manage the water resources of the West. Money from the sales of public lands in the West funded large scale irrigation projects such as the Roosevelt Dam and the Shoshone Dam in Wyoming.
