Over at Olivia’s place, Sir Toby Belch, and his drinking buddy, Sir Andrew Aguecheek party. Maria tells Toby and Andrew a piece of her mind, that they should be ashamed drinking before going home drunk and noisy while Olivia is trying to focus her love for her dead brother. Toby tries getting Aguecheek to marry Olivia.
Cesario(Viola) has a job at the Duke’s court and became Orsino’s favorite boy. Cesario’s first task is to march to Olivia’s house and convince Olivia that Duke is a really swell guy. Viola confesses to the audience that she’s into Duke Orsino. Viola has to convince Olivia that Orsino is a great guy when she actually wants Orsino.
At Olivia’s pad, Feste entertains Olivia and Maria with his word plays and clever insults. Malvolvia, Olivia’s steward, bags on Feste and tries to convince Olivia to get rid of it. Olivia tells him to shush and calls him a fool for not enjoying Festa’s clowning.
Cesario gets access to Olivia’s pad and tries to convince Olivia to love Orsino. Cesario keeps talking and soon Olivia interested in Cesario. She told Malvolvio that Cesario left but left the ring and should return that ring and invite him back so they can discuss how how she'll never love Orsino. Later, Cesario realizes Olivia likes Cesario.
Later that night, Sir Toby, Sir Andrew Aguecheek and Feste get loud in Olivia’s pad, singing songs and drinking. Malvolvia comes along and criticizes Maria for not keeping Toby in check. Maria then decides to punish Malvolvia for being so judgemental. She forges a love letter and drops it where Malvolio can find it.
