  • NEW LAWS!
  • After the factory fire that killed her mother and her cut pay, Olivia protests along with thousands of other workers for change. She meets Eric, her future husband, during the strike.
  • WE WANT CHANGE! WE WANT CHANGE! WE WANT CHANGE!
  • JUSTICE NEEDS TO BE SERVED!
  • Soon, the police appear and some strikers are arrested. Olivia manages to escape the police.
  • HEY! ALL OF YOU ARE GETTING ARRESTED IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE THE PREMISE NOW!!!

  • After Robert Wagner, a state senate majority leader, and Alfred E. Smith, the governor of New York, proposed a bill, a law was established to make factories safer. This law caused the creation of the New York Factory Investigating Commission.
  • This is a period of reformation, so we thereby promise to continue to update New York's labor laws.
