Storyboard Text

  • How can I forget what I've done?
  • Shots of whiskey, and keep them coming.
  • Hey young man, what would you be having today?
  • 30 minutes later...
  • How would you live with yourself knowing that you took away lives?
  • Trying to drown something?
  • A soldier returns home from war and decides to go to the local pub to drink away some dark memories.
  • Yes, it was either kill or let myself and my platoon be killed.
  • Was it the best option at that time?
  • The pub is empty except for the friendly looking bartender.
  • I just want to live peacefully, I want all war to stop. I want to quit the military but I also don't want to surrender to the enemies.
  • The bartender senses the man's troubled soul.
  • The soldier opens up to the stranger after numbing his pain.
  • The soldier expresses his longing for peace.
  • There's no such thing as just war. Pacifism is not tenable in our world. In reality, human beings will always fight one another.
  • As the soldier leaves, the bartender reassures him and reminds him to have hope.
  • You did the right thing at that time. There will always war in the world but as long as there are people like you who have the heart to feel for the fallen, we have hope. Stay hopeful for our future.
