"On the morning of the twelfth day the people washed themselves well. the women dried themselves with yellow cornmeal; the men with white cornmeal." to prepare for the gods to arrive.
After gods arrive they bring sacred items. "Blue body and Black body each carried a sacred buckskin. White body two ears of corn one yellow one white, each cover at the end completely with grains." They then used the sacred items for a ritual.
The Navajo then placed down the buckskin and filled it with cornmeal. they then placed down one yellow, and one white eagle feather on the cornmeal. They did a ritual and from that the first woman and man arose from the feather from the wind that gave them life. "It was the wind that comes out of our mouths now that gives us life. When this ceases to blow, we die."
