  • No problem. Today we did not have much classes. We are supposed to a project related to Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. So our teachers just explained everything about these states. They will send us a circular regarding it.
  • Thank you so much for coming. I was not feeling well so I did not come to school. Now can you tell me what you did in school today.
  • Let me first tell you about Jammu Kashmir. The teachers told us that Jammu Kashmir is a diverse blend of various cultures People from different religious and social practices of various religions. Which has created a composite culture of the state .
  • So, what did the teachers tell?
  • They even told us that the famous dance of the state is Dumhal. Pheran , the traditional dress of Jammu & Kashmir is a long loose shirt which hangs down below the knees along with a white turban tied on a skull cap, a close-fitting trousers and lace less shoes called Gurgabi. And one of the famous food is Rogan Josh
  • Now let me tell you what our teachers told about Himachal Pradesh. The teachers told us that It is famous for its Himalayan landscapes and popular hill-stations. In upper state the people are known as Pharis. Himachal Pradesh has a staggering 37,033 square kilometres of forest area. Himachal Pradesh is home to 33 Wildlife Sanctuaries and 2 National Parks.Weaving, carving, painting is considered to be the part of the life of Himachalis.
