Storyboard Text

  • Lets make this transaction "under the table."
  • We were we all in power, in a span of two months.
  • Invasions by barbaric tribes resulted in war. These barbaric tribes lingered around the border of Rome, and occasionally stormed in and stole booty or loot.
  • We have so much land that we cannot communicate quickly and react to enemy attacks properly.
  • Government corruption was a key factor to the fall of Rome. Illegal or secret transactions were happening too regularly. The people of Rome slowly lost trust in their leadership due to their incompetence and constant violence and corruption.
  • Political Instability was a major issue as there were too many leaders in a short period of time, in fact there was 20 men that took the throne in just 75 years. Anyone that took the throne was assassinated.
  • Over expansion and lack of military force was also a issue that caused the fall of the Roman Empire. They had conquered so much land that they had to space their military out and this resulted in a lack of numbers in their military force.
