Homogeneous mixtures have a consistent composition throughout. Heterogeneous have distinct differences in composition throughout.
An element is something that can be found on the periodic table and made of one atom. A compound is made of 2 or more elements that are chemically bonded.
An example of a element is Sodium ( Na ). An example of an compound is Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
