  • If a student is absent the entire morning or the afternoon
  • He will be marked with one-half day of absence in the Official School Attendance
  • He will be marked absent in three subjects if the incident happened in the morning, or two subjects if the student was absent in the afternoon.
  • If the student is absent from the morning and afternoon session of the same day
  • ½ + ½ = 1 whole day of absence in the Official School Attendance.
  • He will be marked absent in all five subjects of the day.
  • ½ + ½ = 1 day of Absence in the Official School Attendance
  • If the student is absent in the afternoon of one day and the morning of the next day
  • He will be marked absent in two subjects in the previous day, and three subjects in the next day
  • A student who incurs at least 4 unexcused absences in PE or 8 unexcused absences in any other subject per semester shall be given a failing mark (AF) for that subject.
  • Based on Official School Attendance, absences exceeding 15 school days/semester, excused or unexcused, may cause a student to be dropped from the school roll.
  • A student is considered late if s/he is not inside the appropriate classroom, laboratory, covered courts, etc. after the third bell has rung.
  • After the third bell, the student is marked late and must obtain an Admit-to-Class slip from the Prefect of Students before s/he is allowed to attend the class the following meeting.
  • 3 times late is one absence in the subject
