Jenny's friends are trying to convince her to see what the hippie life is like. They all decide to be part of the movement, but she doesn't. She is scared to do it because her parents wouldn't approve.
Yea me too.
I don't care what you guys do, but I am going to do it.
Jason convinces Jenny, and she packs a bag, and they hit the road. They are headed to an old abandonded house that they go to get high and discuss the war, and their feelings.
Okay, pack your bag and let's take a "road trip."
Fine, but only for a little bit to see if I like it so my parents don't find out.
They spend that night getting high, and conversing about what they are going to protest the next day.
Okay, I am ready!
So, tomorrow we are gonna go to a campaign and do your first protest.
They spend most of their day at the protest, chanting while they are high. Jenny's parents are worried because they don't know if she is okay, but since she is almost 18 they just let her have fun and experience new things.
"Make love, not war!"
Jenny and Jason were doing heroin, and Jenny injects a little too much, and overdoses. Jason calls 911, and the ambulance come and try to revive her but its too late. Jenny is declared dead on July 6, 1958, 5:26 p.m.
Friends and family come to honor Jenny's death. Everyone is devastated.
