Chloe and Beth were dancing happily together when they noticed group of people who were vaping outside. Chloe didn't like it and thought that they were way too young to be vaping. However Beth seemed interested and asked Chloe if they should go over. Chloe wants to be cool but she doesn't want to vape. But if she doesn't go and vape, she might be a loser and her friends won't like her.
Chloe is feeling uncomfortable and confused. She wanted to be known as a cool person, but vaping went against all her own morals. She was deciding whether she wanted to be seen as cool and go vape, or feel good about herself because she stuck with her own beliefs.
Chloe told Beth that she though it would be cool to go vaping. But she had a funny feeling in her stomach, because she was going against her own morals.
I didn't act according to my morals and I'm ashamed.
Choosing to go outside and vape was the wrong thing to do. If my friends don't like me for who I am then they are not good friends to have. I have been doing all or nothing thinking. I need to rethink my decisions before I overthink things, which makes me think badly about myself.
Chloe goes outside to get some space and does some yoga so that she can weigh out the positives and negatives and not feel stressed. She realised that she should have done this is the first place when she was asked to go over to the people vaping. She realises that she needs to go and explain to beth that she wasn't acting like her true self.
Chloe explains to Beth that she is ashamed of vaping, and she doesn't want to be known as someone who vapes. Because she believes that vaping isn't right. She says that she hopes Beth still likes her as a friends because she doesn't like to vape.
I'm sorry that I peer pressured you into it. Can we still be friends.
