  • The Solar System
  • AL
  • Mercury is not a livable planet because it is so close to the sun
  • Holy mercury!
  • Venus is the brightest object you can see in the sky
  • Because the thick clouds around it reflect a lot of sun light
  • Why?
  • It is the perfect distance from the sun, making it a livable planet.
  • That's where I'm from!
  • What do you know about Earth?
  • The whole planet is made up of red deserts
  • WOW! This planet is really dry!
  • Mars is known as the red planet
  • This is Sierra and she wants to learn more about the Solar system. This is Sierra's friend Al the alien, and he is going to tell her about the Sun and the eight planets that orbit it.
  • It also has a big spot called the great red spot, and it is a storm larger than earth
  • Jupiter is 11 times bigger than Earth
  • Woah, this planet is ginormous!
  • I know Saturn, it has rings!
  • That's right! Those rings can be seen from a telescope on earth!
  • Scene 1: The first stop is on the planet Mercury. Scene 2: Now lets go to Venus.
  • It takes 84 Earth years for Uranus to orbit around the sun once. Also, it is tipped way over because something may have knocked it over
  • A day on neptune is about 15 hours long, do you know how many hours are in a day on earth?
  • That's right! Also, neptune looks blue because of a gas called Methane that is in its atmosphere
  • 24 hours!
  • Scene 3: On to planet number three. Scene 4: Let's move onto our fourth planet, Mars.
  • It is also 70% water
  • Scene 5: The fifth planet we are going to is Jupiter. Scene 6: Let's go to the sixth planet, Saturn.
  • Scene 7: We are now at the seventh planet, Uranus. Scene 8: Sadly, our adventure is almost over. Onto our last planet and the eighth planet from the sun, Neptune.
