Oedipus had four children with Jocasta. Everything was well in the kingdom, until Oedipus got curious about who who killed Lauis and wanted justice, so he reached out to Tiresias, a blind prophet.
Tiresias told Oedipus that he had killed his father, and got into a heated argument about it. A while later, he figured out that he had killed his father, and tried to find Jocasta.
Oedipus found Jocasta hanging. He took her brooch from her gown and blinded himself. He fled the city with his daughter Anigone guiding him to the court of King Thesues of Athens. He later died there.
