Storyboard Text

  • I hope Alfieri understands where i'm coming from and gives me advice.
  • I mean it don't go no place but here.Because I don't like to say this about anybody.Even my Wife  I didn't exactly say this.
  • Eddie needs to realize not every thing can be his way!
  • what do you mean ?
  • But I know what they're laughhin' at, and when I think of that guy laying his hands on her I could - I mean  it's eating me out, MR. Alfieri , because  I struggled for that girl and now he comes into my house ......
  • All i want is the best for CATHERINE, I want her to get every thing she wants
  • I can not believe Eddie and his intentions on separating those two
  • There is nothing u can do Eddie believe me.
  •  Eddie, that’s all.The child has to grow up and go away, and the man has tolearn to forget. Because after all, Eddie – what other way canit end? (Pause.) Let her go. That’s my advice. You did your job,now it’s her life; wish her luck, and let her go. What are you going to do?
  •  What can I do? I’m a patsy, what can a patsy do? I worked like a dog twenty years so a punk could have her, so that’s what I done.
  • I just hope Eddie knows what he is doing because there can be a really bad end to this.
  • But, Eddie, she’s a woman now,She wants to get married, Eddie. She can’t marry you, can she?
  • What’re you talkin’ about, marry me! I don’t know what the helI you’re talkin’ about!
  • Does Alfieri have a point?
  • I gave you my advice, Eddie. That’s it.
  • I said all i could to open up Eddie eyes on what he iks actually feeling.
  • Well, thanks. Thanks very much. It just – it’s breakin’ my heart, y’know. I –
  • I am so confused!
  • I’m – (He feels the threat of sobs, and with a helpless wave.) I’ll see you around. (He goes out up the right ramp.)
  • I knew, I knew then andthere – I could have finished the whole story that afternoon. It wasn’t as though there was a mystery to unravel. I could seeevery step coming, step after step, like a dark figure walkingdown a hall toward a certain door. I knew where he washeading for, I knew where he was going to end
  • It a\ll finally makes sense to me!
