I aim to bring awareness to the cause of preserving sea turtle species.
Do you see any sea turtles here? No. That's because they are endangered.
Nowadays these beaches don't see many sea turtles.
You see, human activities have destroyed a lot of the beaches that sea turtles use for nesting.
They are also affected by climate change and are harvested illegally for their meat and eggs.
Fortunately, there are ways for people like us to help!
If you live near a beach or other potential nesting site, try to turn off unnecessary lights.
You can also help by cleaning up garbage from the beach.
If you happen to be at a beach, mind any nesting locations and don't interfere with sea turtles or hatchlings.
With your help, maybe we can help out the turtles! Remember, every little bit helps!
Lastly, volunteer! There are a lot of organizations out there trying to help sea turtles, and I'm sure they would appreciate the help!
