Battle of Bunker Hills: June 17, 1775
British troops led byGeneral William Howe tried to removes thecolonists from the hilltop. It was only on the 3rd attempt that the colonists finally ran out of ammunition and were force to retreat to Bunker Hills.
Even though the colonists lost the Battle of Bunker Hill, it gave them confidence and showed that even though they were outnumbered they still had a chance!
