Presentation about scientists contributing to the ammassed knowledge we currently have on atoms. (Chemistry, Ms. Baker, 2019-2020)
Hello, my name is Lise Meitner and I worked with my nephew, Otto Frisch, to learn more about nuclear fission.
I was born in Austria in 1878 and I began to work on the topic of nuclear fission around 1926. Nuclear fission is basically the process in which a nucleus splits spontaneously or due to an impact with another particle
Though the work my nephew and I completed was significant, the scientist I was working with, Otto Hahn, never acknowledged our contributions even though he won the Noble Prize for his work.
