Mercantilism was trade between countries. Many countries wanted to export good and services and import only small amounts. This helped the economy to be prosperous and keep a trade balance with many different countries.
Colonization is when one country takes action against an indigenous people. And creates a settling among the people to take control over the indigenous people of an area.
The Triangular Trade involved three journeys. Ships would travel from Europe carrying goods to different ports along the African coast to trade for slaves. The ships from Africa then sailed to the Americas to trade the slaves for raw materials. Finally the ships from America returned back to Europe with raw materials such as sugar, tobacco, rice and cotton.
This was when slaves were transported in ships to be sent to the West Indies. many slaves died on the boats.
Slavery is when individuals are owned by others, who control where they live and at what they work.Slavery was used as a commodity to trade with the Triangular trade.
The economy was dependent on trading goods and services and through the triangular trade. The goods and services where exchanged back and forth between the different countries. This was the only way for colonies to earn money.
