  • Hey Dina did you know we will have a test on multi-step equation?
  • Yeah.... I hope we pass
  • Good morning, class today we will review how to solve multi-step equations. First you have to distribute the equation 
  • The second step is that you have combine like terms on each side of the equation
  • The third step that you have to do is you have to move all variables using inverse operation to one side of the equation.
  • The fourth step is you add or subtract the constant to both sides.
  • The last step is to Divide or Multiply the coefficient to both sides.
  • Example#1: 2x+9=-6 First you make the positive 9 into a negative 9 and you do the same to the -6 and you will get -15. After that you divide 2x divided by -15 and your final answer will be -15/2
