Storyboard Text

  • In Scene 1 I will pan to a clip of people walking in the city. This will portray our everyday issue with the increase of people with health issues. This will feature a voice over of me and background music that is calm. On the first few seconds of the video, the viewers will be seeing the title of the documentary and my name. I will first present the hook, and then jump into the facts of the truth within the coorporations we consume from. The intended effect is to get the truth out about what we think of a real meal versus what big companies intend to give us. I will be presenting the claim and the hook. I will have a challenge in finding clips to show in my video.  
  • In Scene 2 I will show clips of our factory systems, and how much unhealthy food is produced every day. You will hear the video playing, my voice over, and the background music. In this scene you will read the fact labels that will be typed over the video. First I will present the facts and the ongoing issue with our food supply. Then I will present the video of our factory system, and then I will continue to narrate. I will be covering my claim and part of my body paragraph. I will only have trouble finding a clip. 
  • In Scene 3 I will show a clip that I will tape of the inside of our grocery stores today. I will then feature a clip inside my home of an ordinary stove top box of pasta and what it really has inside of it. You will hear me voice over and speak of the effects of what is in the box, how much our stores have changed, and how much what we eat has changed. You will read the nutrition label on the box. I will transition from facts to anecdote to facts.  The intended effect is to show the change in our environment over the past decades. I will go over my first body paragraph. I will have trouble doing the voice over.
  • In Scene 4 I will discuss the changes within a family. I will portray how the foods we normally eat in meals have gone from healthy and pure to artificial and modified. You will see clips and images of families who go through struggles because of the food they eat. You will hear background music and my voice over. You won't have to read anything. First I will start with discussing the basis of a typical meal, then I will transition to what is in the meal and what we really eat. The intended effect is to show how a company may trick the consumer into believing their food is healthy when really the ingredients could be equal to a fast food item. I will go over my first paragraph. I will cover how the foods we typically eat may not actually be healthy. I wont have any trouble creating this scene.
  • In Scene 5 I will talk about how the unhealthy foods produced by companies are effecting our kids school lives by being sold in cafeterias. You will see a personal clip of food within our cafeteria and an interview of kids speaking about these meals. You will hear the voice over, people speaking, and background music. You will read a slide of facts before the interview. First I will talk about the food in our school, and then I will go on to speak about how it is personally effecting the kids. The intended effect is to show how it has reached the point where it is targeting the students, and not just an option at a store. I will be presenting paragraph two. I might have challenges finding people to interview. 
  • In Scene 6 I will discuss how advertising effects kids and even adults by applying their products to certain demographics. You will see clips and images of places where advertising has effected kids greatly. You will hear my voice over, the video, and the background music. You will read the advertisements in the video. I will first discuss how the advertisements appeal to kids, and then I will transition to how they effect the kids. The intended effect is to show how the advertisements change the perception of a kids mind into liking a certain product. I will be presenting my second paragraph. I wont have any problems.
