In the beginning portion of Chapter 6, the reader discovers Abbey has bitten the intruder, and thereupon, Noah and Abbey sprint away, hoping to cause a diversion to free themselves.
"He's going to lay low and act like a model citizen, in case the Coast Guard comes snooping around."
In the middle portion of Chapter 6, the reader unearths that Noah has gone to the jail to disclose the inconceivable veracities Noah and Abbey found out on their little mission.
"We saw it with our own eyes."
"I think I can help you."
When Lice Peeking fails to show up for the exchange, Noah impatiently wavers over to Lice's house for some answers. He is not there, suspiciously, but Shelly informs him that he was white-faced after meeting a bald man, and he left thereafter. Shelly does accomplish one notion, however. She pushes the truth out of Noah. After this, Shelly believes she can help Noah with his dilemma.
