  • You might be wondering, where am I ?
  • I'm on MARS! Yes, no joke.
  • I'm here to explain you, will there be life on Mars, one day?
  • Differences include: temperature, color, size, gravity and atmosphere.
  • And the similarities are: distance, days and water availability.
  • We've listened many debates on this topic.
  • There are many differences and similarities between Earth and Mars.
  • Gravity: Mars has ⅓ gravity compared with Earth's gravity.
  • Colour: Mars is called Red planet and Earth is known as Blue planet because of physical features.
  • Atomosphere: Earth's atmosphere contains 78% of Nitrogen and 21% of Oxygen. But, compared to Earth, Mars has only 1% of Oxygen of what Earth contains.
  • Size: Mars is half of Earth.
  • Temperature on Mars is -55° while on Earth, only places like Antarctica is that cold.
  • Water: Earth has 70% water. Whereas, in the past, Mars had huge oceans that are now frozen.
  • Now let's talk about similarities.
  • Days: Earth has 24 hours in one day. But, Mars has 24 hours and 30 minutes in one day.
  • Distance: According to astronomical units, Earth is only 1 astronomical unit away from Sun. Whereas, Mars is 1.3 astronomical units away.
  • In a nutshell, we don't know what will happen in the future. Hopefully, scientists will find an answer.
