  • Canada, France, America, and Great Britain agreed to attack Germany
  • June 5, 1944, was the original date of D-day. Due to rainy weather the date was delayed to June 6th, 1944. This decision was made by Winston Churchill. 
  • The 82 and 101st airborne divisions were the first to lead the attack on Omaha Beach.
  • Infantry began storming out of destroyers (boat) and liberated Omaha beach. The allied infantry had to fight off mounted the Axis's mounted LMGs and had to make it up a rough mountain. Many lives were lost in this battle.
  • Several infantry squads from several countries go over seas to attend the battle of Cerentan. The need result led the city into ruins on June 15th.
  • The 82nd airborne division began attacking several cities in order to liberate them during early July
