The Life of Theobald Boehm
This storyboard does not have a description.
Theobald Boehm was born on April 19, 1794 in Munich, Germany.
He was trained to be a goldsmith and jeweler by his father.
He loved music, so by 1818, he was a goldsmith, flute-maker, and a professional flutist in an orchestra of the royal court of Munich.
In 1828, Theobald had put together a workshop to manufacture instruments.
In 1847, he produced another instrument with a cylindrical body, foot joint, and parabolic head joint. The finger holes were even larger than before and had padded covers.
Theobald Boehm later died on November 25, 1881, in the same house in which he was born. He was then buried at the Old Southern Cemetery in Munich.
