Storyboard Text

  • Exposition: The Finch family live in Maycomb,Alabama during a time of great racism and Predjudice. Scout and Jem are the children of Atticus, a known lawyer
  • Conflict: Tom Robinson is a young black man accused of raping a white woman. Atticus must defend him as his lawyer and face prejudice hate from the townspeople .
  • Rising Action: Jem and Scout are being targeted by the townspeople, because their father is defending a black man. The children learn about justice and what is right or wrong.
  • Climax: Tom is found guilty. Jem and Scout are distraught, because they know that an innocent man will be put to death with an electric chair.
  • Falling Action: Bob Ewell makes it well known for his dislike of people with color. He threatens Atticus and Toms wife. Jem and Scout are worried that he will hurt Atticus
  • Resolution: Bob attacks Jem and Scout. Fortunately, Boo Radley saves the children and stabs Bob, killing him.
