Odysseus and his men docked their ship on an island that they have never been to before. The Greeks found a cave that soon became their temperary home. They started a fire and ate food while they were relaxing on the island.
They soon realized that the cave they were in was the Cyclops's home. The Cyclops entered his cave and blocked the only entrance (and exit) with a giant boulder. The Greeks had to find a way to get the Cyclops to move the huge rock. They ended up stabbing the creature in the eye.
After the Greeks successful attack on the Cyclops, they hurried to escape the cave. The Cyclops ran to the giant boulder and pushed it over to see if he could see the light. The Greeks had blinded the Cyclops but had escaped the cave thanks to Odysseus.
