Storyboard Text

  • ...
  • In Fahrenheit 451, Clarisse meets Guy, a book-burner, and teaches him indirectly to think about things rather than just think of them.
  • "..."
  • Beatty, along with the rest of society, doesn't think there's anything good in books, which Guy realizes is where meaningful thought is found.
  • Guy meets Faber, who also knows thought-provoking material is in books, and they want to stop the other FIremen from burning books and bring books back into public life.
  • Guy's wife, Mildred, isn't sure about going along with the idea of reading and keeping books, and gets upset when a poem Guy reads makes her friend cry.
  • Beatty finds out Guy's been hiding books, so Guy kills him and his co-workers, and goes on the run.
  • Guy eventually finds a group of travelers who are remembering books for the future and lives with them.
