Martin Luther composes and nails his 95 thesis to the church and almost getting himself killed by exposing the church for there lies
Martin luther in worms, Germany in his trial. its was a meeting for the holy roman empire to decide what happens to luther. later that day they had decided the forbid anyone to give him shelter or aid, and as well as he should be captured as a punishment. but luther had other plans.
Luther refused to recant and Emperor Charles V declared him an outlaw and a heretic. Luther went into hiding at Wartburg Castle. there he translated the bible into common people german so they would repent against the church.
John Calvin disengaged himself from the Catholic Church, and made plans to move to Strasbourg, but there was a war between King Francis I and Charles V, so calvin decided to move to Geneva. He worked there as a preacher and Lecturer.
Calvin preached over two thousand sermons. Initially, he preached twice on sunday and three times during the week, but as this was too hard, late in 1542 the Council allowed him to preach only once a Sunday.
Calvin was required to preach twice on sundays and every week day of alternative weeks. His sermons lasted more than one hour and he did not use notes. also by 1559 another book of calving had been published and just a few years later he had died in 1564 in Geneva
