Storyboard Text

  • I was a straight A student. A sophomore in college, I was on the cheerleading team and top of my class.
  • Then one day at a party this guy offered me PCP. He told me it will make me feel good. He said It will take away my stress so I took the PCP.
  • As the months went on, I used PCP more often. I became reliant on the rush it gave me and used it daily.
  • I began to lose friends because of my irrational behavior. PCP caused me to have hallucinations that would give me anxiety. PCP caused me to lose control over my emotions which cost me my position on the cheerleading team
  • I abused PCP. I took PCP pills whenever I felt my high was wearing off. I lost control. 28% of people use PCP alone while another 73% of people use PCP with one or more other substances. I was among the 73%. I mixed alcohol and PCP together on the regular. I was later diagnosed with mood disorder (long term effect of PCP).
  • Moral of the story, if you are offered PCP (Phencyclidine, Angel Dust, Superweed, Wack, Ozone), just say no. Matter of fact, say no to drugs overall. I never thought I would get addicted, but the feeling that it gave me was too good. Just say no. I lost my friends, any opportunity I could have got was lost when I dropped out because PCP was way too important to me, lost a lot of time, and I lost myself. Keep your mind, your opportunities, and your life and just say no to drugs.
