  • This is Germany's fault!
  • All of Europe and the U.S began to blame WWI on Germany. They forced Germany to pay reparations in order to fix the damage done throughout the war. Germany's economy collapsed.
  • Make Germany pay reparations!
  • How are we supposed to fix this! Down with the Germans!
  • This is Germany's fault!
  • The League of Nations made war illegal. However, this was not necessarily followed because the LoN had no standing army to enforce their laws. Most often they tried to appease with leaders to prevent wars
  • After Hitler was imprisoned for the Beer Hall Push, he was seen as a martyr. The German people pushed for him to take control, so the government handed power over to him. He promised a better Germany.
  • Why must Germany suffer these consequences! We are the purest blood! The highest power! We are GERMANS!!
  • Pacifism is for the weak! We must go to war. With America, with France, with Great Britain. It will be easy and, we shall get easy resources!
  • Going against the laws of the League of Nations, Hitler wanted to go to war to prove their powers.
  • Yes, Sir! Hail Hitler!
  • Neville Chamberlin, in charge the League of Nations, decided that, due their lack of army for enforcement, it would be best to appease to Hitler's demands.
  • I have secured peace for our time by appeasing to the demands of Adolf Hitler. We shall not fight him
  • They're going to give me what I want!! I will continue with my Reich and make Germany Great!
  • Hitler was soon defeated by the Russians, however, and ended up committing suicide wit his girlfriend after shooting his dog
