Storyboard Text

  • Who Are They?
  • Dr. B. teaches high school psychology classes.
  • How does the problem you want to solve relate to them?
  • I want to help guide my students in the right direction without feeding them the information.
  • What do they need?
  • They need to chose and research a topic for themselves, and need to be able to find reliable sources.
  • This is Dr. B.
  • What are they looking for?
  • It is important that what I give them supports the standards given for teaching high school psychology.
  • Dr. B. has assigned his students a research paper, and wants to give them a resource to turn to for help.
  • How would they usually solve the problem, and why won't that work?
  • I would direct them to the school library, but it doesn't have resources numerous or varied enough to support all of my students.
  • He wants to give them some freedom in their papers, but also worries about their information literacy skills.
  • What is their technical skill level or subject matter expertise?
  • My students are also more comfortable online. Can you help me find a resource?
  • Dr. B. wants whatever resource he uses to fit within the structure of the class.
  • He needs something that has a broad reach, and that all his students can use at once.
  • Dr. B. needs something that takes into account his students' abilities and knowledge while adhering to standards and the subject. This is where my guide comes in!
